Getting started

To add video and audio to a React app, follow the React quickstart →.

It starts PulseBeam with Docker or Podman, then covers issuing participant tokens, joining a room, publishing capture, and receiving remote media in any React app. Success means seeing and hearing another participant, not just a local camera preview.

WHIP publishing and the React integration are different tasks. The React quickstart does not require writing protocol messages or starting with WHIP.
